JP turns 11 months & counting

Jeremiah is now walking!! He still loves to crawl all over the place because he can get there faster but look out he's walking now. He still stumbles and falls a lot but I bet by his first birthday he will be running. He has 6 teeth now and I think he's working on more. He does not like to let me look to see if more teeth are coming in. He is teething on everything and drooling a whole lot. He said his first true word now "book". We think his favorite color is green (for now). He seems to like all his toys or balls that are green. He now communicates in his baby language telling us what it is he wants. He is more expressive about what he does and does not like. He walks (or crawls) over to us just to give us hugs. He loves to try and feed himself. Which he doesn't have down yet. He does have the right idea on how to use the utensil but most of the time it just goes all over the floor or all over him instead of his mouth.

He enjoyed going to Cali and did extremely well with the very long (15hr. straight through) drive. We left at night so he could sleep the whole way. It was a great idea and worked out wonderfully. He had a lot of fun visiting his Uncle Scott, Auntie Christine, and cousins Avery and Mia. They have changed so much in just two months.

Jeremiah got to open his birthday gift from Uncle Scott, Auntie Christine, and cousins Avery and Mia. He was really good and made sure to read the card first. He was so excited to see what he was going to get...

He loves his new toy and plays with it all the time. Thank you Uncle Scott, Auntie Christine, and cousins Avery and Mia!

We also saw Uncle Nate and Auntie Marsha who is ready to deliver Baby Erika any day now. It was a short visit but it was nice to see them. She is past her due date and ready for Erika to be born.

We also saw each of the Grandparents.

We had fun visiting with everyone and wish that we could visit more often. The time is never long enough.

Things that Jeremiah is looking forward to...camping, his first birthday, his baby sister Rachel, having another cousin, and learning to ride a bike!

Yo, look at our Grand Son!!!
Grandpa and I are thrilled at his love of rythm, but also his love of plants, things that work when he pushes a button and most of all...his love of his Mommie and Dad!!!
See those drums??? Paul played on them too, no kidding!!!!

We just love the picture of Jeremaih and his twin cousins....You parents better watch out and stay really sharp when these three are old enough to plan and play...just look at those mischevious little smiles! What fun!

What a fun post!! Loved all the pictures. How cool you got a picture of the brothers and their pregnant wives. That is so special. We are going down to see Martin and Bea this weekend. Hope we see Baby Erika too.

Have to laugh at the word verification here: astrings
as in the A string on a guitar maybe. Heehee.

Dearest Jeremiah,
Happy First Birthday, Jeremiah!!! My heart leaps with joy at the joyful sight of you running, climbing stairs, loving Mommie and Daddy and exploring everything that moves, opens, and stands still. You are a very curious little boy with a very good and tender heart.
When I see you I am reminded of what the Holy Spirit said to me when your Daddy was your age and also so full of endless joy, curiosity and confidence. You have the potential for the world's greatest good!!! We, your family, will be faithful to pray for you and teach you about God, the creator of all that is seen and unseen and His Son, our Saviour, Jesus Christ. I pray beloved Jeremiah that you will be a defender of what is good, no matter how weak or unpopular the cause or the person may be. I pray that you will love God and know God and His Word. May you be a forgiver and generous to those you meet who are in need. May you be a light that so shines in this world that others will see your good works and glorify your God in heaven. And...may the Joy of the Lord be you increasing strength throughout your life.
I love you so much!!
Grandma Bea
