Day at Uncle Scott's & Auntie Christine's

So our last day in Cali we went to Uncle Scott and Aunt Christine's. But on our way we stopped to have hand and foot impressions taken of Jeremiah. Here is Jeremiah putting his hand inside of daddy's. I cannot wait to see how it comes out, but it takes 6-8 weeks so I will have to wait a long while to see them. (Thanks Scott & Christine for the recommendation it was a lot of fun).

We had lots of fun spending the whole day with Scott, Christine, & the girls. We had a wonderful visit and again it was way too short.

Of course we couldn't miss the opportunity to take lots of pictures. So here are some of Jeremiah with his cousins.

We had fun going on a walk to the beach. Jeremiah got to see the ocean for the first time. Which he seemed to like. It was a beautiful day in Huntington Beach. I know I really had a great time on our walk.

Here are some really adorable pictures of Mia.

Here are some really adorable pictures of Avery.

Here is Uncle Scott and Jeremiah.

A fun time was had by all and it truly was a once in a lifetime trip. After all, you only get one first Christmas.

Day at the Park

Jeremiah went to the park with his Grammy Linda and went for a wonderful walk.

Jeremiah had a bunch of firsts while there at the park. He went for a ride on the horse. which we really enjoyed. He also went down the big kid slide, with me of course.

Jeremiah wanted me to put more pictures of him and his Grammy. So here they are.

Ok I just had to throw this one in.

Inter Holiday Party

John and Kelly were having what we have called an "inter holiday party" with all our friends. So we decided to go there and let everyone see Jeremiah. We did not stay long but it was still a lot of fun. We enjoyed seeing all our friends. Here are some pictures from our time there.

I just hope that this is not in his near future. I don't think that my heart can take it!!!

Christmas at Grandma Debbie & Grandpa Dreger's

The third stop on our California Christmas trip was to Grandma & Grandpa Dreger's House. Jeremiah was excited to see them.

By now he was an expert on opening presents. He had that paper off the present and in his mouth so quickly I could not keep up. Jeremiah felt like a celebrity while there. Everyone wanted a to get a picture.

Jeremiah loved seeing all of the funny faces that his grandparents would make at him. He voted these the best of the best.

Another thing Jeremiah started doing was drinking out of a regular cup. But what he seems to want most is our soda. When he sees us drinking out of the can he grunts for us to give him some. So...

While Jeremiah was taking a nap the rest of us played the card game hearts. Grandpa beat us all...but it was still a lot of fun.

Here are some other pictures that Jeremiah liked. Enjoy!!

Jeremiah had a wonderful time. It felt way too short though and is really looking forward to next time.

After this we went to our friends John and Kelly's house!

Christmas at Grammy Linda's

Second stop on our California Christmas trip was to Grammy Linda's house. The party really started once Jeremiah's two cousins Avery and Mia got there. Grammy Linda could not have been prouder to have all of her grandchildren together.

It was baby madness everywhere. There was so much baby stuff you could hardly walk around the room. There was always one baby doing something cute that stole the limelight. It was fun to see them all together and see them start to really notice each other.

He also got to meet some Great Uncles here as well. He met his Great Uncle Warren and his Great Uncle Jim as well as his Great Aunt Sheila. They all adored him and did not want to put him down.

He even got to meet his second cousins Jared and Ashley. Like I said there was always someone to hold him and he loved it.

But meeting people did not stop there. He met Michael (Marilyn's son), Jared's wife Kristina, and Kenessa's dad Steve.

On top of meeting all these people there was still more fun to be had. Jeremiah even got to open more presents! This time he was much better with the concept of what to do. He pulled the paper right off and put it straight to his mouth. His toys he finally noticed once mom was able to get them out of the package...toys these days! Why do they make them so hard to get out of the packages? Plus they come complete with chocking hazards with all the twist ties they use (frustration in my voice).

Here are some favorites of Jeremiah's. Enjoy!!

Though Christmas Day was over there was still more Christmas fun to be had. Next it was off to Grandma Debbie & Grandpa Dreger's house.

Christmas at Grandma & Grandpa Laufer's

Jeremiah had a wonderful, jammed packed, exhausting, yet exciting first Christmas! We went to Cali for Christmas to see all our family and friends. First stop was to Grandma & Grandpa Laufer's house.

Jeremiah gave his daddy his Christmas present on Christmas Eve. He looked right at him and said "dada". It was so wonderful everyone in the room heard it loud and clear. Jeremiah's daddy is so proud!

He had lots of fun in the walker grandma & grandpa bought for their grand kids. It was a red Ford Mustang with white stripes. He loved making it move all around. He really enjoyed making it play all the sounds. He even chased his grandma all around the kitchen.

He also loved his visits with his Uncle Nate, who would make him laugh. Watching football with all the boys. Go Broncos! (Even though they lost and did not make it to the playoffs this year).

He got to met his Great Uncle John for the first time! They got along real well. They both had sleep on their minds. He also got to met his Great Uncle David, who was dressed as one of the wise men.

Jeremiah did not get to spend that much time with his Auntie Marsha, but had lots of fun with what little time they had together.

Jeremiah was really excited about his presents. He could hardly contain himself and just had to peak at one of his presents. He got caught though and had to stop.

When it came time to opening presents he had so much fun. He learned to how to hold the paper and then rip it off. The best part wasn't the present itself, it was the wrapping paper! It went straight to his mouth.

Jeremiah is looking forward to playing with all his new toys when they are shipped from all the grandparents.

Here are some family photos that Jeremiah thought you would enjoy!

P.S. Then it was on to Grammy Linda's for Christmas fun at her house.
